Through our network, we at SQC can offer you a wide range of lectures and study visits on Swedish elderly care, customised to suit your needs. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any queries about what we can offer.
Introductory lecture (1-2 hours)
We recommend all groups to start the programme in Sweden with an introductory lecture on Swedish elderly care in order to gain a basic understanding of how the system works. The content of the lecture is adapted to your requirements so as to give you the background you need to better assimilate the information you’ll be given on any future study visits.
Lectures by doctors, nurses, paramedics and other healthcare personnel
If you’re interested in a specialist area, such as dementia, incontinence or music therapy, SQC can offer a large number of lectures given by an expert in the relevant field.
Examples of study visits to elderly care providers
SQC has an extensive network of public and private elderly care providers that welcome groups for study visits. Each visit lasts between one and two hours. Here are some examples:
•Elderly housing
•Residential centres for people with dementia
•Home help
•Day centres for the elderly
•Day centres for elderly people with dementia
We also arrange special programmes for groups of students. SQC assists in and with personnel exchanges.
